Lots of interesting ideas to pursue here - epecially the idea of looking into the archetypes that resonate with you. What do they mean, what aspects of yourself do they represent?

The link brought up a warning in Edge though that it was dangerous. Does that mean something also? Ahhhh

Hi, Brian. Thank you for your interest; I'm glad you found the archetype exploration intriguing. Yes, I have a lot to pursue in this article; I made the "beginner's mistake," and my eagerness for knowledge makes it difficult to focus on a single topic. I'm not sure about the link; it works fine in my part of the world, but I'll leave you with a link here so you can learn more about the archetypes if you want.

Since discovering archetypes, I have gained a better understanding of the universal symbols that surround us, and it is also an excellent tool for exploring your potential. You can emboby multiple archetypes. Archetypes are not limited to human behavior; they also exist in nature. They are present in natural cycles, seasons, and elements. For example, the mother archetype embodies nature's nurturing and life-giving qualities. I will definitely write a more in-depth article about archetypes.

That's okay - there is a lot to say! And you can expand on all these ideas in more articles.

I haven't explored archetypes very much yet. I think when I first encountered the idea, I was kind of put off that people could be 'explained' by these roles - and none of them really resonated with me.

In part it was because I was always trying to escape from my feelings, so it was hard to actually know myself, much less what archetypes resonated with me. Unless that's an archetype also?

I'm most interested now in Internal Family Systems, which lets you get to know your parts as they are themselves. This really resonates with me because most of my parts were buried in childhood, and have never really been known.

Anyway, thanks for your reply - looking forward to more writings!
